COSTA RICA "Escaping the Cold Texas Weather" February 1-15, 2011

We knew that it would be cold on our South Texas beaches. So, we packed our bathing suits, flip flops and rented a Villa in Playa Tamarindo.

IMPERIAL is, of course, the National Beer of Costa Rica!

Playa Grande is the big surf beach as well as the home of the giant leather-back turtles. We found Britney - a graduate of Baylor University and close friend of Cousin Charlie - at her beach side establishment "The Taco Star".
